- Battery issues: there are a wide variety of ways to power your mp3 player. Different manufacturers have different options when it comes to batteries for mp3 players. Some mp3 player manufacturers offer batteries that are not replaceable or serviceable and this should be a consideration when selecting your mp3 player. Also to consider regarding the mp3 player battery is playback time, that is, how long will the batteries last before they need to be recharged or replaced.
